I am grateful to all those at the center, who have been so kind to me, especially the young woman Monica who gifted me with her late grandmother's wheelchair. I will be eternally grateful.
Ñaña Lucila is a 97 year young lady, who gave her entire life in the service of her family. She spends hers days getting up and going to her chair in the living room. There she reads her Bible, and receives her guests and calls on her phone. She also enjoys going over to the window to look at the Hudson River and its' constant traffic of tugboats, ferries and pleasure craft. Throughout the day she makes her way over to the table to take her meals and frequent snacks. Lucila is full of life.
